Position OverviewThe Sourcing Strategy Director, a fully remote position, will report directly to the Chief Sourcing Officer and play a critical role in strategy design, development and execution. This leader will work closely with the Chief Sourcing Officer and the director of sourcing relations to identify strategic opportunities to build partner relationships and grow business across partner/supplier channels. They will take a disciplined and data driven approach to this process and work in close collaboration with cross functional teams. This individual will be accountable for developing and managing projects and processes, presentation materials and communication across the organization.
Essential job functions:
- Partner with the Chief Sourcing Officer to identify and develop sourcing strategies, set priorities and support project management, communications, information flow, ownership and follow-through.
- Act as an advisor to the Chief Sourcing Officer to think through decisions and anticipate opportunities, business risks and results.
- Analyze external and internal data to influence well informed decision-making.
- Lead and participate in meetings with the sourcing team, cross functional partners and ELT as required to support presentation, information gathering and drive projects and initiatives, ensuring accountability and achievement of project milestones, key deliverables and results.
- Ensure sourcing team delivery against goals and projects across the function.
- Manage sourcing meetings and support meetings with external partners and ELT as well as strategic business meetings, and ad-hoc meetings (building slide presentations, gathering information and recommending information to be included and follow up communications).
- Develop internal processes and drive projects to optimize the, and impact of the sourcing function.
- Visualize information, data, and insights to craft a compelling narrative
- Manage sourcing team calendar and communications.

QualificationsMinimum Job RequirementsÂ- Bachelor’s Degree and MBA preferred or equivalent related experience
- 7+ in a experience in management consulting or similar role
- Proven track record of working closely with C-suite/VP/Director level executives and an ability to build trust with internal/external stakeholders of all levels
- Strong organizational and process management skills to manage a wide range of incoming requests and responsibilities
- Prior experience in management consulting, strategy, operational leadership, or Chief of Staff type role
- Strong analytical background with demonstrated experience utilizing data to drive decisions. Advanced Excel and SQL Skills preferred.
- Experience with analysis structuring and visualization tool sets such as PowerBI, Tableau preferred.
- Highly organized, prepared and persuasive communicator with the ability to explain complex issues in a simple way.Â
- Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Exceptional project management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Entrepreneurial-minded leader who has been successful in operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a geographically dispersed and fast-paced, high growth environment, able to redirect efforts easily and maintain a consistent pace.
- Willing to roll up the sleeves and do what it takes to meet deadlines and get the job done.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations
- Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
- Travel as necessary (< 20%).
