Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a supporting member of a dynamic M&A and Business Development team focused on the evaluation of innovative assets and companies, that have the potential to complement Horizon's existing portfolio
  • Support the tracking, identification, evaluation and execution of acquisitions, in-licensing and other related business development activities that enhance the value of Horizon's business
  • Work closely on detailed financial/valuation, competitive market analyses, and coordination of due diligence efforts, among other tasks
  • Create materials and conduct analyses to support effective communications with key internal stakeholders on a timely basis


Required Qualifications, Skills and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 1 year of investment banking, private equity, consulting or business/corporate development experience. Healthcare/biopharmaceutical industry focus preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to independently build financial models to support business development decisions
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
