Job Overview
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will lead enterprise-wide initiatives while driving collaboration and alignment across multiple teams, systems, and initiatives to ensure seamless integration of business and IT objectives. Your role is pivotal in capturing the business scope and translating it into actionable roadmaps, complete capabilities, features, and precise acceptance criteria.
This role will engage with diverse business units, including Retail, Care, Digital, and Back-office operations such as Accounting, Tax, Payments, Commissions etc., to develop detailed artifacts to facilitate IT design and development. These artifacts include product and business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user experience flows.
This role will have accountability for be on validating and maintaining traceability for both the current and future operating models. Additionally, you will devise a Business Requirements Framework and Strategy adaptable to various delivery methodologies, from traditional waterfall to agile, for solution providers. This strategy will encompass planning, direction, thorough analysis of business needs and pain points, new product introductions, customer experience enhancement, and operational requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Sponsors:Â Forge partnerships with business sponsors and teams across technology and business domains to craft roadmaps that detail capabilities, features, and acceptance criteria.
- Elicitate User Stories: strong elicitation skills will be crucial in distilling low-level business scope into formats that align business and IT, such as creating flows using various tools such (e.g., Visio or Figma).
- Decompose Complex Information: break down intricate concepts into smaller, manageable components, driving detailed analysis, and fostering clear communication.
- Relationship Management: Invest in stakeholder management and possess the ability to gain stakeholder trust. Fosters Business knowledge and understanding among business partners and larger project stakeholders. Â
- Elicit and Evaluate information: Gather information from various sources, including stakeholders, current processes, documents, experience flows, and evaluate it to identify potential requirements and solutions.
- Reconcile Conflicts: Resolve conflicting needs or viewpoints among business and technology stakeholders.  Act as a consensus broker and resolve conflicting needs among stakeholders, with the user experience and business operations in mind. Â
- Distinguish User Requests from True Needs: Uncover underlying needs by asking probing questions to understand context and expected experience.
- Differentiate Solution Ideas from Requests: Evaluate proposed ideas and bring critical enterprise teams to evaluate alternatives and make the right decisions.
- Facilitate Requirement Sessions and Documentation: Facilitate requirement sessions with business and key technical stakeholders using established documentation methods and storage.
- Initiate and execute process improvement initiatives.Â

- Bachelor's Degree Quantitative discipline (Required)
Â- Work Experience:
- 4-7 years Business/Systems analysis experience with understanding of strategic business processes and information systems. (Required)
- 6-8 years Business/Systems analysis experience with understanding of strategic business processes and information systems. (Preferred)
- Manage Large Enterprise (cross channel) Level Initiatives involving multiple teams and systems (Required)
- Experience with SharePoint. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $80,900 - $146,000
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
