Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for establishing and analyzing data reporting for the SB function. A thorough understanding of MS Access, E3, Excel and other internal systems is required. Also responsible for maintaining excellent relations with our SBV partners as well as coordinating with the Inventory Management & IT teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains complex databases/tools/dashboards to support SBV Decisions and functions. Proactively identifies trends and offers insights
- Performs complex analyses to solve business questions with advanced data sets and presents finding to leadership team.
- Establish and develop sound working relationships with all of our SBVs
- Make prudent business decisions to ensure we are maximizing profitability while ensuring Quality standards are being met
- Create and/or analyze all analytical spreadsheets that are used to derive the best business decisions for purchasing the product.
- Closely track projected savings benefit to ensure we are on target for meeting our budget goals
- Identifies, explores, articulates, and resolves issues surrounding data quality and analytic processes. Recommends best practices
- Participate with RFP buys throughout the year. Includes communicating daily with vendors on pricing, delivery and packaging requirements
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
- Recommend and implement opportunities for automation & streamlining of processes
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, VBA, RPA, Power BI
- Working knowledge of ODBC and file transfer (AS400 to PC) applications.
- Working knowledge of AS400 files structure and layout.
- Sound understanding of the SB market and it's idiosyncrasies
- Knowledge of e3 and/or other MRP systems

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $71,993 to $125,987 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive] not reflected in the posted range.
