Sr Firmware Architect

Job Description

As a Sr. Software Architect, you will be responsible for end-to-end product development, requirements management, evaluating technical solution feasibility, defining and conceiving non-functional requirements, defining architecture and design to meet scalability, performance, and security requirements. Additionally, you will develop and review interface specifications, support integration testing and work in an Agile development environment.

JOB DUTIES:

• End-to-End Product Development
• Evaluate Technical Solution Feasibility
• Define and Conceive Non-Functional Requirements
• Support our Embedded Intrusion product teams with their security needs
• Work with both our Internal and External Lab partners to validate our products
• Linux Experience and Solid programming Skills is required

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect, Software Architect, or System Engineering Role
• BS / MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Solid technical background in OS, software platforms, and embedded systems, and experience with developing or designing highly complex software system
• Working experience with Requirement Management & Approval process and Validation Plan reviews
• Linux Experience
• Strong experience in validation of hardware and software architecture
• Strong experience in Cyber Security principals

WE VALUE:

• Familiar with Embedded System Architecture, Cloud Integration framework, and application framework
• Experience with Microcontroller architecture, Cloud Integration, and end to end solution deployment
• Experience in IoT, Edge Solution, or other safety-critical applications
• Experience with agile software development processes, and tools

SALARY RANGE:

In compliance with applicable laws, Resideo provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be performed in NYC, Colorado, Washington, and California. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, the specific office location, and pay differences based on the local labor market. The expected base salary range for this role is $115,012 - $200,089.
