Serve as a functional HSE expert, providing leadership andtechnical support to the HSEF AEROSPACE Headquarters servicing all AEROfacilities worldwide. Work within robustoperating and management systems to reduce risk. Strengthen systems to ensurecompliance with regulatory and Honeywell requirements. Partner with businessleaders, Facility HSE Leaders andemployees to continuously improve HSE culture, awareness, and accountability insupport of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight, day-to-day management and continuous improvementof the FAA drug & alcohol program.
  • Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into siteoperations supporting site HSE leaders.
  • Lead HSE initiatives as an integrated business partner tosupport achievement of site and AERO HSEF goals and ensure zero harm toeveryone.
  • Drive Excellence in HSE through management leadership,employee involvement, worksite analysis, hazard prevention and control, and HSEtraining.
  • Support contractor safety programs and asset managementprograms assisting Principal Safety Engineer.
  • Reporting and escalation of HSEF events/non-conformance& corrective action support.
  • Liaison with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
  • Business acumen of aerospace and FAA requirements.
  • Conduct training of HSE and ISC personnel.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement practical, functionalapproaches to resolve safety, health, and environmental issues in support oflocation strategies for achieving customer satisfaction and regulatorycompliance.
  • Champion information management and process excellence.
  • Strengthen HSE culture and coach on HSE behaviors.
  • Oversight of additional HSEF programs as assigned.
  • Conduct site internal audits to ensure continual compliance.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in HSE or HSE related field.
  • 3+ years HS&E experience in a manufacturing orindustrial environment.
  • Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements.
