Job Title: Senior Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary: The Senior Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire inventory process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This role involves leading inventory-related projects, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory operations. The Senior Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, reducing discrepancies, and improving overall warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
  
  
  • Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Experience with Fork lifts, Stacker/Powered man lifts.
• Leadership and Training:
  
  
  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory coordinators and warehouse staff.
  • Provide training and guidance on inventory control best practices and company policies.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  
  
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate and present detailed inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
• Process Improvement:
  
  
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and operations, to streamline inventory processes.
  • Lead inventory-related projects and initiatives to support business goals.
• Compliance and Safety:
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Address and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
• Preferred:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience

Working Conditions:

• This position may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Work is primarily performed in a warehouse or storage facility environment.
• Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet inventory deadlines.
