Job Title: Senior Inventory Coordinator
Job Summary: The Senior Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire inventory process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This role involves leading inventory-related projects, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory operations. The Senior Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, reducing discrepancies, and improving overall warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Experience with Fork lifts, Stacker/Powered man lifts.
- Leadership and Training:
- Lead and mentor a team of inventory coordinators and warehouse staff.
- Provide training and guidance on inventory control best practices and company policies.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Generate and present detailed inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and operations, to streamline inventory processes.
- Lead inventory-related projects and initiatives to support business goals.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Address and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
- Preferred:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience
Working Conditions:
- This position may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Work is primarily performed in a warehouse or storage facility environment.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet inventory deadlines.
