Sr. IT Systems Engineer | Remote, USA

The Sr. IT Systems Engineer - Endpoint will design and develop scalable solutions for compute endpoints infrastructure across the enterprise. They are responsible for the design, engineering and operational deployment of programs, solution architecture and strategy related to major operating system upgrades for Windows, Unix, and MacOS, Patching/Imaging, VDI/AWS Desktop Environments, third party software management, Enterprise mobility, IAM Administration, Endpoint Security MGM & MDM. The scope of this role is for cloud based and premise-based solutions.

How you'll make an impact:

• Deliver endpoint Architecture roadmap and strategy
• Develop designs and configurations for tools related to endpoint management and maintenance
• Author functional, technical and support documentation related to solutions for endpoints
• Lead the architecture development, deployment, maintenance and support strategy for endpoint solutions
• Design and implementation of best practices related to endpoint aligning with NIST 800-53 and other cyber security standards.
• Ensure software currency plans for operating systems and endpoint support systems
• Assist the junior engineers and operations staff through training on solution support and administration
• Collaborate productively and with integrity to achieve and deliver results
• Serve as the technical expert in the field of endpoint solutions
• Perform all other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field of study
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in the design and architecture of computer endpoint solutions
• Minimum 7+ years of experience developing programs to manage software currency and consistency across the enterprise
• Demonstrated the ability to lead in vulnerability and patch management coupled with a deep understanding of information security standards related to endpoints
• Expertise in Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems and third party applications
• Advanced expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, Role Based access and Identity management; both on Premise and in Azure, O356 and AWS
• In depth understanding of STIG's and other principles of cyber security as it relates to endpoints, operating systems, and associated management platforms
• Ability to develop secure, operational and managed design frameworks for endpoints
• Strong experience and knowledge of Jamf, Intune and Tanium for patch management
• Strong experience in the technical leadership of a Windows 11 global upgrade
• Experience working with senior management leadership and ability to influence others cross-functionally.
• Initiative, a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, strong organizational and project management skills, and a "can do" attitude.
• Advanced written and oral communication/presentation skills as it relates to development and presentation of architecture and designs.
