About the team:

The eBay Global Customer Experience (GCX) team is responsible for building experiences that customers love in Service Delivery. The role we are hiring for is Manager of Business Operations as part of the Partner Engagement and Performance team supporting the entire GCX organization. This leadership role requires an individual who is passionate about data to objectively inform the GCX Leadership team and develops qualitative and quantitative insights that help drive the business and logically tell the story.

As the lead of the GCX Business Operations team, you will be proficient with data tools and sources while flourishing with solving highly analytical problems. You are part of a global analytics community across all eBay businesses and work closely with your data GCX colleagues.

The role:

In addition to strong statistical, analytical knowledge, collaboration and storytelling are required. Also, strong intellectual curiosity, and a passion for achieving practical business impact. Skills in quantitative analysis, problem definition, synthesis & recommendation development will be essential. You will have superb social skills, initiative, and integrity. Outstanding business judgment and quantitative analytic ability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Insightful Reporting
• Drive Weekly Performance Deck Meeting
• Develop Monthly NA Business Review
• Provide Insights for critical metric Targets
• Analyze Data and Trends to make recommendations to improve the business and results
• Support projects

Requirements:

• An understanding of business and product
• Skill to identify critical metrics to measure
• Transform scientific/data analysis and communicate business performance in a clear and insightful way to the business to facilitate timely and informed decision-making
• Drive strategic direction of programs based on data points and insights
• Be an advocate of GCX for the rest of the eBay organization, pushing insights to make eBay and GCX better
• Provide business & analytics thought leadership in a global environment
• BS Degree in Statistics/Mathematics or field required (or experience equivalent).
• Good interpersonal skills and experience distilling and presenting complex quantitative analysis into willing to take action recommendations.
• Prior experience in performance measurement.
• Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to thrive in a multi-functional environment while prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent written, verbal and social interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and deal with all levels in the organization in a clear, timely and effective manner
• Familiarity with Bix, and Tableau or other data accessing/manipulation/computational tools
• Strong promoter of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) as a natural way of conducting business
• 5+ years of experience in analytics and insights
