Revenue Operations aims to maximize revenue throughout, standardize & implement operational best practices, provide measurable insights for sales enablement to improve sales performance, and enhance full-funnel accountability across the entire customer journey. As the Senior Manager, Sales Commission, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our sales commission program. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our sales team is incentivized and rewarded appropriately for their contributions to the company's success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic leadership and Design for Commission Plans: Develop and implement commission plans and policies that align with company goals and objectives
  • Responsible for long term strategic plan for the team, as well as, day to day tactical operations
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure commission plans motivate and incentivize the sales team effectively
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and make adjustments to commission plans as needed
  • Commission Calculation and Administration: Manage the calculation and payment of sales commissions accurately and timely
  • Ensure compliance with commission plans and company policies
  • Handle inquiries from the sales team regarding commission calculations and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Sales Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, commission earnings, and other relevant metrics
  • Provide insights and analysis on sales performance trends to support decision-making by senior management
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and tools to track and monitor sales performance and commission payouts
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, HR, Legal, and Sales Operations teams to streamline commission processes and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Training teams to ensure sales representatives have a clear understanding of commission plans and incentives
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices and trends related to sales compensation and commission structures
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize commission plans and processes to drive sales performance and employee satisfaction
  • Lead initiatives to implement improvements and enhancements to the commission program

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales compensation design and management.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing others 
  • Strong understanding of sales compensation principles, plan mechanics and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using sales performance management tools and systems (e.g., Salesforce, Xactly, Anaplan).
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in commission calculations and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
