- Build deep product and market expertise through direct customer conversations as well as market and competitive research.
- Work closely with the product management team to understand product features, benefits, and roadmap.
- Create compelling positioning and messaging that gets at the heart of customer pain points and clearly articulates how AppFolio solves them.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive customer value and adoption across product suit.
- Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful market introduction.
- Collaborate with the sales and services enablement teams to create collateral and education programs.
- Develop thought leadership content and customer stories that resonate with our target audience.
- Excel at identifying areas of opportunity and guiding stakeholders to seize them.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years experience in marketing, product marketing, or product management for software - ideally with exposure to Real Estate.
- Excellent writing style and command of language to create a broad array of written communication.
- Great stage presence and presentation skills to lead both internal and external presentations.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and execute complex projects through cross-functional teams.Â
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights from customer, market, and performance data.
