Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as lead technologist in Quality Assurance and Engineering, shaping best practices across tools, processes, and development with an emphasis on automation to ensure high-quality code and test coverage
• Lead Automation CoE including the following: Plan, Design, Build and Maintain complex Test Automation Frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword, Hybrid, Descriptive programming) using Cypress/Appium/Selenium driven, RestAssured and solutions for Desktop/Web and Mobile Applications (Web/Native) to Android and IOS
• Design and implement cloud testing strategy
• Collaborate with project teams to strategize & align long term solution for automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach
• Enable continuous testing strategies via test pipeline using GIT Actions
• Ensure test environments are scalable and robust using cloud services
• Define automation processes to fill the gaps between the as-is processes and industry standard best practices and pilot the same on selected projects
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools and technologies in automation testing including trends in AI
• Identify and implement Continuous improvement and optimization techniques to reduce waste across the test life cycle leading to enhance efficiency and coverage
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to project teams and test engineers for the implementation of testing automation processes and best practices as needed
• Thought leadership - Good understanding of creating POVs/white papers, technical documentation and should to enthusiastic presenter/participant at tech talks/seminars and knowledge sharing sessions etc.
• Identify and assess risks in the process; develop mitigation strategies and ensure they are implemented effectively

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in Quality engineering/Automation Testing
• Solid hands-on experience in implementing test frameworks/ solution for web, Desktop and API using market leading and open-source tools across the application stack (Playwright /Selenium/Appium/Cypress/ Rest Assured)
• Test Automation - Experience with test automation framework development and Implementation using prominent design patterns - Robot /BDD/Hybrid or Data Driven Frameworks
• Good experience working with modern web technologies (React, Angular, AEM) and integration systems (API/Microservices) and cloud hosted health care interoperability services
• Experience in managing automation code using standard Code repository tools (Git/GitHub or SVN etc.) and implementing Continuously integration using GIT Actions or any other market tool
• Experience in creating automation test strategy and test plans for large transformation/migration programs or product development
• Experience working on Cloud based applications (Azure Preferred) and cloud test platforms like sauce labs, browser stack
• Hands-on experience in conducting maturity assessments, Gap Analysis and build roadmap to improve overall of maturity of the testing which includes functional (includes automation) and non-functional testing across the STLC
• Continuous improvements and Optimization - Experience in implementing Continuous improvements and optimization techniques by deriving data insights using standard measurement framework and Life Cycle automation using Lean Principles
• Hands-on experience in Relational/ NoSQL Databases including MS SQL, MongoDB etc. with ability to write complex queries/Stored Procedures
• In-depth understanding of mainstream and emerging technology standards and advancements in software test automation
• Proficient with Appium Test Framework, API Automation, Cypress, Cucumber (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), C#, JavaScript, Exposure to AI Technologies (Optional), React, Agile Methodologies
• Proven solid Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to document automation framework, test harnesses, coding principles & standards
• Proven team player; Technology enthusiast and effective communication
