The Challenge:
Intercept Games is looking for an experienced concept artist who can help explore a visual possibility space in pre-production and shepherd assets through the production pipeline. As a Senior Concept Artist on our team, you will:

• Work closely with the Art Lead and Directors to establish a consistent visual design language
• Pivot your skillset between pre-production exploration to production-ready design sheets as needed
• Communicate ideas effectively to other artists as well as non-art disciplines
• Playtest with the team and assess the role of game visuals as a holistic part of the player experience
• Influence the team dynamic in a positive way with fresh ideas and a problem-solving attitude
• Contribute meaningfully to the artistic tone and direction of worldbuilding assets

What You Bring:

• A strong portfolio showcasing visual problem solving and previous games experience
• 5+ years of professional concept experience
• A high level of proficiency with Photoshop or an industry-standard equivalent
• An understanding of the 3D art and animation pipeline, to better anticipate and design for
• Artwork that carries a strong sense of narrative and UX
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate both other artists and non-artists
• A passion for space exploration, rocketry, worldbuilding, and related entertainment media.
