Reports to: Sr. Costing Manager
Location: Goleta, CA
The Role
The Sr. Costing Analyst is to provide costing support and consultation service to Product Creation Team in ensuring availability of costing performance results for global business at each key milestone for quantitative assessment to facilitate product value/ margin/FOB discussion with cross-functional teams, recommend tactical actions/adjustment in season.
Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limit to:
1. Work closely with cross-functional partners including Product Creation Team, Merchandising and Planning, Asia Costing, to meet seasonal costing deliverables.
2. Review Cost Breakdown Sheets and collaborate with key stakeholders including Asia Costing to resolve product costing challenges and improve overall product margin.
3. Provide retail price, FOB price, and landed cost analysis to regional product teams to assist in merchandising seasonal lines.
4. Assist Product Development in pre-costing seasonal lines to ensure early product build costs are within target range.
5. Manage and validate costing data in FlexPLM system to support the brand.
6. Build Seasonal Sourcing Matrix to aide Development & Sourcing leadership in factory allocation decisions.
7. Work with product team to review, confirm, and track brand tooling amortization exposure.
8. Develop and lead ad hoc research projects and reporting as needed.

1. Bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis on financial or business analysis, or equivalent work experience.
2. 5+ years of product costing experience required in footwear and/or apparel/accessories.
3. 2+ years management experience.
4.Experience with financial business reporting and pricing model.
5.Strong Excel & Microsoft Office skills.
6.Experience with FlexPLM or similar system.
7.General knowledge of product construction and manufacturing.

$85,000 - $90,000
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
