We're currently looking for a Sr. Cyber Security and Threat Analyst - Defensive side (Remote) to join our team in Franklin, TN.
This role will be responsible for Protecting and supporting the Nissan Americas Region by monitoring and responding to Security alerts, Cybersecurity threats, and vulnerabilities. This role is also expected to be a thought leader in new technologies, as well as improvement of workflows and processes related to a security operations center (SOC).
Job functions Include but are not limited to:
- Incident handling and response, including intrusion and malware analysis
- Network security review
- Logging and monitoring of critical infrastructure
- Threat detection and IOC development
- Technical research and creating new SOC techniques and tactics
- Mentoring and training junior analysts
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience working in information technology, with at least 5 of those with hands on experience in the Information Security field working in a SOC, NOC, on an incident response team, a threat team, or in network security.
- Preferred certifications, including CISSP, EnCE, GCFA, GCFE, GREM, GCIA, GCIH, OSCP
- Experience working with Security Event Management Systems (SEIM) and other logging/review tools
- Thought Leadership, organization, multitasking, and report writing skills.

Salary Range Estimate: Annual Salary: ($84,433 to $173,070). This compensation range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that it is uncommon for an employee to be placed at either end of the range. Rather, an employee's actual base salary generally may fall somewhere in between and reflect the employee's unique skills, work experience, education, work location, and market norms. Additionally, pay may be based on comparisons to the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles.
