We are currently seeking a full stack Data Analyst Engineer to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US) in a 100% remote capacity.

This role will perform the full range of engineering tasks from data analysis, data engineering, data analytics, and data visualization. This role will serve as a customer-facing, integral staff member for our client.

Responsibilities for full stack engineering are as follows:

Data Analyst/Data Analytics/Data Visualization:

• Analyze internal and/or industry data and use it to answer business questions
• Gather business requirements from client
• Summarize and communicate requirements and answers to other teams in the organization for action and decision making
• Access data, cleanse data, perform statistical analysis, visualize data and communicate results
• Maintain and expand the current processes using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder,
• Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake

Engineering:

• Design, test, implement, and maintain data ingestion pipelines (ETL, ODBC, and/or APIs)
• Prepare data for analysis
• Research and evaluate additional technology requirements to support growing business requirements
• Stay abreast of industry trends and new technology
• Support systems and processes to ensure USAID's Chief Information Officer requirements and regulations are met

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim (Secret/Top-Secret) Clearance
• Minimum of 10 years of data analysis oriented experience that include the following:
• 5 years advanced exploratory data analysis using Python
• 5 years performing intermediate to advanced SQL queries
• 5 years experience with data cleaning
• 3 years experience with Data Bricks and/or Azure Data Bricks
• 3 years experience using Tableau
• 3 years experience with data visualization
• 3 years experience with communicating, verbally and in writing, complex data analysis clearly to people with no statistics or programming background

In accordance with Executive Order 14042, a candidate for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by January 18, 2022 or their start date, whichever is later subject to the provisions and exceptions of EO 14042 and applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced skills in Tableau
• Experience with Tableau Prep Builder
• Experience with machine learning and AI
• Experience with common data science toolkits (e.g., Panda, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, Statistics)
• Intermediate probability and statistics skills
• Experience with UX/UI
• Experience with Google Apps Scripts
• Graduate degree preferred (STEM field)
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written); technical writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
