Senior Developer, Integration Services - Carmel, IN

The Senior Developer, Integration Services, will be responsible for both development and support of Allegion's WebMethods integration platform. Developing high quality application components to meet business needs using WebMethods product suites 10.x, XML, XSD, JSON and EDI. This position will be considered as an individual contributor role for Development/Support (60:40) ratio working in conjunction with Integration Team, ERP teams and various business partners.

What You Will Do:

• Design and develop high quality application components to meet our business needs - BPM components, database components, services, web services, APIs
• Ability to review functional requirements and determine the type of integration work that is needed based on the requirements
• Apply the best pattern to use for each integration scenario to gain the best performance, reusability and maintainability
• Support the processes, standards, and tools to enable system integration development and support
• Support the processes that ensure application availability and manage the application life cycle for the Middleware and related applications
• Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams
• Collaborate with business partners, technology, and architecture teams
• Support the existing infrastructure and integrations platform
• Contribute to operational excellence with continuous improvement/automation activities
• Participate in code reviews and architecture reviews to assess the new development is done as per standards
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, design, implementation, business impact analysis, vulnerability assessment and contingency planning

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software required.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills (Oral and Written)
• 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and support of integration platform required.
• 5+ Years integrating systems with third-party service vendors preferred.
• 5+ Years of experience on webMethods Support and Development preferred.
• 1-2 Years of UNIX or Linux system administration support preferred.
• Command of Service Oriented Architecture Concepts preferred
• Open to learn and support multiple technologies
• Ability to work remotely off hours and during scheduled activities
• Onsite-offshore experience desirable
• Driven, self-motivated, able to work using sound judgment & professionalism
• Experience with Cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, such as Workday, Salesforce.com, Success Factors and Single-Sign On (SSO) approaches preferred
• Experience in developing solutions for EDI/B2B/BPM implementations preferred
• Experience developing/implementing SOAP/REST Web Services preferred
• Experience with other middleware/integration platforms preferred
• Experience in Agile methodology using tools like Azure DevOps. preferred
• CI/CD Automation experience preferred
