JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Agile Decision Sciences is urgently seeking Sr. DevOps Engineers to support the SEC's Software Engineering Environment (SE2) will support the established team in the design, deployment, and integration of software build automation/continuous integration tools within the SEC SE2 that facilitate the postproduction support of software and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- This includes supporting the current Agile software development tools that facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery of software maintained by SEC developers. Additionally, the employee will provide infrastructures services and support, troubleshooting and help desk services while interacting with users (tier 2 3) and applications administration.
- It can be expected that they will be asked to analyze current technologies and recommend cutting edge solutions to fulfill current and future requirements. In this position the candidate will also participate in, and contribute to the success of the analysis, planning, deployment, test, and integration of existing and novel DevSecOps technologies into the SE2 infrastructure such that the SEC mission and goals will remain attainable in a rapidly growing technological environment.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three plus (3+) years' experience configuring and developing CI/CD pipelines (such as Azure DevOps Server, GitLab, or Jenkins)
- Three plus (3+) years Configuration as Code experience (such as Ansible)
- Two plus (2+) years Software Development experience, including Test Driven Development (such as C#, .NET Core, Python, Java, Go)
- Excellent understanding of DevSecOps and best practices
- Experience using, configuring, and managing containers (such as Docker Compose, Swarm, Kubernetes)
- Experience with the SDLC, to include use of software source code control systems, artifact repositories and code assessment tools.
- Exceptional technical troubleshooting skill (applications, services, servers, networking, etc.)
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Effective writing to produce documentation for technicians and users.
- Additional Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge in planning and performing in an Agile work environment with a focus on Agile development practices.
- Experience using project planning software (such as Jira and Confluence)
- Azure DevOps Server Implementations to include build agent configurations.
- Active Directory (ADFS integration) | LDAP Integration
- Git experience
- Experience configuring reverse proxy and load balancing.
- Single Sign-on Integration (such as SAML, OpenID)
- Experience using and managing Traefik, Portainer
