Sr. Fullstack Developer (PHP + Vue)

Our agile centralized development teams powered by our on-site senior leadership allow us to work with you as a stand-alone group be it integrating into your in-house dev teams or providing external architectural guidance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Full Stack Developer with a startup mindset to join our client's team. You will be contributing to developing and maintaining web applications for a media, technology and commerce company oriented to a black women audience.

As part of this role, at least initially, you would be contributing to the development of features for a Vue.js v3 application and also with their backend layer where PHP or equivalent server-side languages are used.

Hard Skills - Must have:

• Strong experience with front end development using VueJS version 3.
• Strong experience with backend development using PHP, especially with Laravel framework.
• Hands-on knowledge of Responsive/Mobile Design.
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Javascript, JQuery.
• Working knowledge on SQL (MySQL 8.x preferred).
• Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, JEST, Jasmine, Karma, etc.
• Experience consuming REST web services.
• Experience with source control tools.

Hard Skills - Nice to have/It's a plus:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with Redux, Flux
• Experience with D3, WebGL and/or any other web-based data visualization frameworks/libraries.
• Experience with front end build tools and toolkits like NPM, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc.
• Experience with LESS, Stylus
• Experience working in Agile methodologies
• Experience with Nix (FreeBSD)

Soft Skills:

• Proactive attitude, strong sense of self-motivation, organization, attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, refining project requirements and designing solutions and features.
