Job Description
Why Hearst Magazines?
Hearst Magazines is one of the largest publishers in the world, with more than 25 brands, including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper's BAZAAR, Popular Mechanics, and O the Oprah Magazine. We reach more than 150 million people every month in the United States alone.
But we're more than just our magazines. We engage our audience across all mediums and channels - print, digital, video and social - with sophisticated content creation, distribution and data capabilities. We create, package and sell products with cutting-edge technology and proprietary platforms. Together, we are reinventing publishing for the 21st century.
Your Impact:
We are seeking an exceptional Sr. Product Manager to help consolidate and activate the first-party customer data of Hearst Magazines across a variety of advertising, consumer marketing, content strategy, and product development initiatives. Leveraging the formidable customer data assets gathered from Hearst Magazines's 100+ year legacy of high-quality lifestyle publications, tens of millions of print and email newsletter subscribers, and hundreds of millions of monthly web users, you will have the opportunity to play a critical part in the data-first evolution of a leading global media company.
Ideal candidates possess big-picture vision as well as the drive and attention to detail to make that vision a reality. You must have a strong grasp on the current first-party data environment, challenges, and opportunities across the digital media landscape. You are fluent in the language of web analytics, CDPs, DMPs, audience segmentation, privacy, cookies, cookieless data, HEMs, cross-channel marketing, etc., and you possess extensive knowledge of the evolving digital ads, consumemarketing, and audience activation technology stack. You will balance strategic thinking with outstanding execution - holding yourself and our teams accountable to delivering successful outcomes. You will dig into data and technology layers yourself to uncover insights, new connections, and product opportunities. You are a highly functioning self-starter who is seeking to make an impact on how a major global business operates.
This position is ideally based in New York City but may also be remote working from any of the 16 states in which Hearst Magazines does business: NY, TX, FL, MI, CA, TN, VA, AL, CO, IL, MA, MD, NC, NJ, OH, SC, PA.
