We are currently seeking a Software Release Manager. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in managing complex releases from planning to deployment. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

    • Manage technical releases and work with cross-functional teams such as PMO, Engineering, Integration, and Validation to compile lists of changes going into releases
    • Lead change control board meetings, assign the proper responsible lead to the work being discussed, and follow up on the process end-to-end
    • Work closely with the Software Release Manager to define the release content
    • Work with the Software Quality and Process Engineering teams to continuously evaluate the release and change management efforts to improve processes and remove inefficiencies
    • Create metrics and dashboards to facilitate a data-driven approach to process improvement
    • Work with TPM teams across the software and hardware organizations to ensure they know what their deliverables are at all times and guide them through the process
Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in the areas of software release and/or project management
    • Proven track record of managing complex software projects and releases to closure
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work to completion
    • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
    • Experience with agile and waterfall software development methodologies
    • Experience with software development and project management tools (Jira, ClearQuest, DOORS, JAMA, GIT, ClearCase, MS Project, …)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
    • Experience in embedded and/or automotive SW
    • Formal training in project management
    • Experience with driving organizational change
Education:
    • BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science or related fields, MS preferred

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

 

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$130,600$179,630 USD
