Job Description
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to an experienced Sr. Software (SaaS) Product Manager who wishes to join our business. As a Product Manager, you will become a member of our global Digital Core Products team. Your primary responsibility will be to own a portfolio of emerging software products owned by AECOM. You will act as the critical interface between the customer, the business, our software development team, and our technology partners.
In this role, your primary focus will be on one or more Azure-based solutions that support the various global business lines within AECOM. These solutions are an integral part of the mission of our Core Products team, as they help drive cost savings, operational efficiencies, and competitive differentiation. To achieve these goals, we aim to develop data-driven platforms that extract valuable insights from the data. A key aspect of this role will involve developing highly innovative, creative, and globally scalable solutions.

This will be a remote/virtual based position that can be located at a variety of locations within North America or the UK, not limited to those listed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and the development team. Ensure that the product roadmap aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Customer Research: Conduct market research, collect and analyze customer feedback, and identify customer needs and pain points. Use this information to inform product development decisions and prioritize features.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that includes prioritized features, timelines, and resource requirements. Continuously refine the roadmap based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards a common goal.
- Product Development: Work with the development team to define product requirements, create user stories, and ensure that the product is delivered on time and within budget.
- Product Launch: Lead the product launch process, including defining launch goals and objectives, creating launch plans, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful launch.
- Metrics and Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make data-driven decisions. Analyze customer usage data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future product development decisions.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product messaging and positioning, and create marketing collateral to support product launch and ongoing marketing efforts.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and the development team. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that everyone is aligned on product goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field plus at least 10 years of product management experience in software development, with a track record of successfully launching and managing cloud hosted software products, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience in agile software development methodologies.
- Strong technical background, with knowledge of software development, cloud computing, and emerging technologies. Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and customer needs. Ability to identify market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with product marketing, including product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience with Azure-based solutions preferred.
- Experience working across global stakeholders in a global product team
- Experience within the AEC industry or similar
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
- Experience with data analytics tools and methodologies is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and lead cross-functional teams. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
