Sr. Software Tool Engineer

We are hiring a Sr. Software Tool Engineer to work in Laurel, MD. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.

Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph

• Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues.
• Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6
• Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6
• Stay up to date with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer. Eight (8) years experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator , or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• TS/SCI Polygraph required.
• DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1
• Ability to obtain PRIVAC and SYS3
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
• Know login management.
• Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shooting
• Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
• Experience with load balancing technologies
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with scripting and automation tools a plus

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

• DNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of Infoblox
• Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets
• In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
