POSITION PURPOSE

Liberator Medical Supply, a subsidiary of BD, is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Salesforce to lead the development of solutions which enable our teams to make accurate customer-first decisions at every level, at the speed our business demands. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to lead our team in the healthcare space using Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud and MuleSoft. This is a highly visible business impacting position, and we are seeking an agile practitioner, who fosters teamwork, and can build strong interpersonal relationships with leadership, stakeholders, and technology teams. You must be highly analytical, diligent, and naturally curious with the ability to improvise and develop creative solutions when common approaches fail. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a collaborative and agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Drive and enable teams to establish and progress toward key performance metrics, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objective and Key Results (OKRs), to effectively measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Use expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Experience Cloud to design and implement scalable solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision and roadmap for the evolution of Salesforce within our company.
  • Integrate Salesforce with various platforms, including MuleSoft, to optimize data flow and system interoperability.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and development efficiency.
  • Solve complex technical issues related to Salesforce and its integrations.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party applications from AppExchange to extend Salesforce capabilities.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain a strong understanding of healthcare data security and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and partners to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Oversee the measurement, monitoring, and maintenance of production systems.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and apply ALM tools like Jira, Copado, or Gearset for Product Management and CI/CD automation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce technologies, features, and standard methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other software engineering teams, providing technical expertise, and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Implement and enforce security standard processes and controls to safeguard PHI, PII, and PCI data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor Salesforce releases and roadmaps to stay up to date with the latest platform enhancements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • A minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, including 5 years of experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer, with expertise in various Salesforce cloud technologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Lead Engineer, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing Agile processes, fostering collaboration, and delivering high quality solutions.
  • Significant experience in Health Cloud is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Experience Cloud is highly advantageous.
  • Have a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including expert-level technical design expertise, and a proven record of recommending and implementing standard processes to drive optimal system performance.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Proven expertise in using advanced Salesforce development tools and techniques, including but not limited to Apex programming, force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter API, lightning Components, and Visualforce pages.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare-related processes and data.
  • Proficiency in other programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software development standard methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Prior hands-on experience using a CDP solution for delivering personalized experiences a plus.
