We’re looking for a Sr. Technical Solution Engineer to act as the authority within the go-to-market division on SimilarWeb’s DAAS solution.
This role will report to the Director of DAAS.
Why is this role so important at Similarweb?
The Technical Solution Engineer role is an integral part of our DaaS team that works closely with our Sales Team. The team supports our Sales Team with product expertise and operational support.
You’ll be building solutions to solve for prospect, client, partner and Sales needs.
So, what will you be doing all day?
Your role as part of the DAAS team means your daily responsibilities may include:
- Build custom technical solutions using SimilarWeb’s data set using Google Sheets, DataBricks, and more generally Python and Javascript.
- Manage complex technical requests from clients requirements, including participation in client callsÂ
- Leverage problem solving and technical skills to solve prospect and customer pain points by building custom solutions.
- Provide support for data scientists, engineers and non-technical users alike.Â
- Consult with Development and Engineering teams to provide solutions to customers and pass on customer feedback for the improvement of products.Â
- Work independently under a general definition of the requirements and use professional concepts to work on routine tasks of average difficulty and complexity level.
- Build tools for the go-to-market team to use to improve efficiency in sales, retention and acceleration motions.

- Holds 2+ years of relevant work experience in programming languages - Javascript/Python
- Familiarity with API
- Experience solving client problems in real-time
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Adaptability, flexibility, and readiness to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
It’s a plus if you have:
- Experience working with Tableau, Google Data Studio and Google Sheets
- Client facing experience
- Understanding and familiarity with digital marketing
