Staff Accountant

Job Title Staff Accountant Job Summary • Reviews, prepares, reconciles, and analyzes accounting records and financial reports. What you will generally do • Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards • Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations • Create and upload journal entries • Work with business units to resolve variances • Provide support for internal and external auditors • Accounts Receivable Processing • Maintain and review A/R aging • Accounts Payable Processing • Maintain and review A/P Aging • Collections • Must display the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism • Pick-up Mail • Must be available to go complete bank deposits • Other duties as assigned What you will need (Required) • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics • Comfortable learning and using different operating systems • Must display the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism • Active Driver’s License Who you are • Excellent verbal and written communication • Active listening • Strong Numeracy and analytical skills • Critical thinking • Time management • Excellent Judgment and decision-making abilities • Self Starter • Proficient in MS Word & Excel What we offer our team • We offer FREE produce to all of our employees for their home needs (*certain limitations do apply, please see company policy) What the position requires physically • Repetitive arm and hand movements (e.g. typing, answering phones, etc.) • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods • Must be able to look at a computer screen for prolonged periods of time • Communicating with others to exchange information • Must be able to see, hear and speak to perform this job safely and efficiently • Must be able to maneuver in/out of vehicle Equal Employment Opportunity Specialty Produce is an Equal Opportunity employer.
