Staff Auditor

Salary:Market related Reference:141241 Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to join our team. The Auditor will be responsible for examining and evaluating financial statements, internal controls, operational procedures, and compliance with regulations to ensure accuracy and integrity within the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Perform audits of financial statements, internal processes, and operational systems. • Assess internal control systems and identify potential risks or areas for improvement. • Review accounting procedures, records, and reports to ensure compliance with established laws and regulations. • Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations. • Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure implementation of corrective actions. • Collaborate with other departments to understand business processes and identify potential areas for audit. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes. • Assist in the development of annual audit plans and schedules. • Support external auditors during financial audits. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA, CIA, or relevant certification preferred. • 2+ years of auditing or accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and internal controls. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software (e.g., ACL, SAP, QuickBooks). Preferred Skills: • Experience with data analytics tools or ERP systems. • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, COSO, or ISO standards. • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
