Your main tasks will include:

• Leading the system architecture design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Driving architectural decisions and ensuring the implementation of best practices in software development.
• Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and optimizing the overall system performance.
• Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring high code quality standards.
  
  

You are right with us if:

• You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• You have proven experience (5+ years) in developing large-scale web applications with Ruby on Rails.
• You have a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• You are proficient in front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
• You have experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• You have a solid knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modelling and you are familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• You have strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
