Advancing the World’s Technology Together
Our technology solutions power the tools you use every day--including smartphones, electric vehicles, hyperscale data centers, IoT devices, and so much more. Here, you’ll have an opportunity to be part of a global leader whose innovative designs are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and powering the future.Â
We believe that innovation and growth are driven by an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce. We’re dedicated to empowering people to be their true selves. Together, we’re building a better tomorrow for our employees, customers, partners, and communities.
What You’ll Do
The Systems Architect Lab (SAL) is developing innovative technology focusing on addressing two of the key challenges facing today’s AI and HPC applications, namely memory and communication bandwidth. Using Samsung’s world leading memory technology, we will be looking at how we can design systems with significantly improved byte to flop ratios allowing improved application performance and developer productivity. We will also be looking at innovative technology for improving communication bandwidth. Most importantly, we will be looking at both from a system perspective. The effort will be across hardware including memory, networking, power, and RAS; software, including system software, frameworks, and runtimes; and application and performance modeling.
In this position you will perform modeling and simulation of our next generation HPC and AI architecture. This will include using existing tools and developing new tools and simulation components. This work will require constructing simulators, running simulations, diagnosing software and hardware bottlenecks, and working with other teams to develop solutions. You will work closely with the architecture, applications, and system software teams.Â
Come help us build the next generation of HPC and AI systems.
