What You Will Be Doing

Work as a part of a small team that includes other React Native developers, designers, QA experts, and managers
Design and implement user interface components from prototypes and wireframes for mobile applications using React ecosystem
Integrate with ChargePoint station embedded software via Bluetooth, and with ChargePoint cloud APIs
Work with native modules as and when required for tight integrations with both platforms – Android and iOS
Write automated tests to ensure error-free code and performance
Evolve application architecture to improve developer velocity, performance, and stability
Implement clean, smooth animations to provide an excellent user interface
Work with third-party dependencies and APIs
Coordinate with the cross-functional teams to build apps on time and within budget

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

ChargePoint is looking for a React Native developer to help us build a next generation mobile application that will be used for installation,
service and diagnosis of charging stations. As a mobile developer, you will work to help the team architect, build and deploy React Native
mobile applications to iOS and Android users across US, Canada and Europe.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of React Native fundamentals such as JSX, component lifecycle, props and state management
  • Significant experience working with React Native along with tools like Flux, Flow, Redux, etc.
  • Well-versed in a variety of React Native software and technologies such as Jest, Detox, ESLint, and so on
  • Knowledge of type checking, TypeScript, and code debugging
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs, storage, and third-party libraries
  • A complete understanding of the full mobile app development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability and inclination to make critical system-level design decisions and drive projects from start to finish
  • 6+ years of experience working on mobile applications using React Native, Java, Obj-C or swift
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MS preferred)

Nice to have:

  • Experience using React Native to build mobile applications that have shipped in the Apple App Store / Google Play Store
  • Experience integrating with Bluetooth
  • Working with EV / EVSE products is a big plus

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $85,000 to $192,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
