Job Description

Planned Systems International (PSI) is searching for several candidates to fill staff resource support positions to plan, program, budget and execute requirements for the ACC A589 customer. Candidates will assist in performing capabilities, program and cost analysis for new or modified systems to include managing, developing, and analyzing resource documentation in support of program execution. Candidates will support manpower requirements by identifying position requirements, proposing required adjustments, and coordinating adjustments through established processes.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain broad technical and analytical resource proficiency to efficiently translate weapon system Requirements into documented resource reports. This will require maintaining a close interface with a wide range of users, developers, industry, Air Staff, and other agencies as required to ensure resource development efforts are aligned with DoD directives.

• The candidate will assist in evaluating system capabilities and program cost effectiveness according to fiscal parameters and measurements. This includes assessing cost for accuracy and reasonableness and identifying potential alternatives.

• The candidate will assist in developing strategies to optimize modernization efforts contained within the HQ ACC Program Objective Memorandum (POM) to include creation of spreadsheets and briefing charts.

• The candidate will monitor and analyze funding execution to ensure consistent and proper resource alignment among projects. This includes working with HQ ACC organizations and maintaining databases necessary to prepare the 5/8/9 Fiscal Year Execution Plan, Initial Distribution, budget execution, maintain management internal controls, and monitor obligations/expenditures within funded programs.

• Candidates will assist with cost, schedule, technical, and performance assessments and develop briefings and background papers to identify potential impacts and proposed courses of action.

• Candidates will manage UMD's as well as Command Man-day allocations. As well as track and execute required manpower updates and incorporate the data into manpower system(s).

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates Degree or Four Years MAJCOM experience

• Three years staff experience in operations, staff or working specific program or subject area of the A5/8/9 mission

• MAJCOM or higher-level staff (combination of active duty, government service, or contractor)

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, DTS, UMDs and Air Force Evaluation Management System, TMT

• Division Level Calendar Management

• Experience Compiling inputs for reporting at the Directorate Level

• Secret clearance with some positions requiring Top Secret, SCI, and SAP

Experience in the following a Plus:

• Experience reviewing Core Personnel Documents, preparing hierarchical and org charts

• Experience inputting personnel actions into automated programs for Request for Personnel Action

• HQ ACC Division level office manager experience

• Experience in determining eligibility criteria and performing quality review for Performance Recommendation Forms (PRFs)
