Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack)

You will be a Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) with Convera based in our Work From Home U.S. office.

You will be responsible for: 

• Being a core member of a multidisciplinary team (Engineering, Product and Design) focused on shipping impactful products for our customers - from new features to robust architecture supporting the overall quality of the end-user experience 
• Thinking out of the box to implement high-performing, scalable solutions
• Leading code reviews and contribute to team-wide engineering initiatives 
• Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in frontend and backend development, AWS services and software engineering best practices
• Leading the development of Micro UIs for our application
• Designing, developing and maintaining fast and responsive APIs built on AWS
• Developing and managing secure data pipelines for our services
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building and deployment of services
• Mentoring junior Engineers

You should apply if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in development on AWS or similar cloud highly desired
• 8+ years experience writing reactive web apps in TypeScript, NodeJS, HTML/CSS. NextJS experience a bonus. 
• Experience building reactive JavaScript-based web apps with cross-browser compatibility
• Experience implementing designs and integrating systems with modern design frameworks like MUI, Tailwind, etc.
• Experience with RESTful API microservice designs in Java/Springboot
• Working knowledge of databases, including MYSQL and NOSQL
