Embedded UX Lead

What will you be doing?

  • ChargePoint is looking for an outstanding engineer interested in applying skill set toward building cutting-edge software for a next generation vehicle charging platform
  • You will architect, design, implement, and test new systems in a rapidly evolving problem-space

What will you be doing?

  • Embedded Station UX/UI design & implementation
  • C/C++ based Platform integration necessary to support UX features
  • DBus based communication between platform services and UI
  • Additional UI/UX tooling responsibilities (ex: Fontforge, Inkscape, Gimp, HTML+WebAssembly, h264+ffmpeg, OpenCV+camera, Python)
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  •  Embedded UX knowledge necessary to create and support a feature-rich common UI across multiple ChargePoint products.
Requirements
  • BS/MS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in developing embedded system UX/UI development
  • Expert-level C/C++ coding in a Linux/RTOS environment
  • Should have experience with some of the following: Python, HTML, JavaScript
Preferred to have
  • Qt / QML experience is a plus
  • Working with EV / EVSE products is a big plus
