Job Description:
Position Responsibilities
- Partner with the President, Medicare, the Medicare executive leadership team, the Enterprise Strategy team, and key growth partners across the enterprise to drive strategy and execution in support of Medicare business' strategic priorities, business plans, and goals, integrating with internal and external financial and business commitments.
- Conduct in-depth strategic research and manage external stakeholder relations strategies and facilitate the decision-making process across the management team.
- Drive successful execution of all Medicare business initiatives and communicate regular updates across multiple stakeholders.
- Translate complex, technical information into presentation-friendly formats including graphical displays to a wide variety of internal and external executive audiences.
- Act as the personal advisor and sounding board to Medicare executive management and triages work on an on-going basis.
- Collaborate closely and in harmony with the Medicaid Chief of Staff, the GBD Chief of Staff, and other Chiefs of Staff throughout the enterprise.
- Manage, on behalf of the Medicare President multiple, broad-based initiatives, including:
- Partner with the Medicare Executive Leadership Team to define the business' strategy and successful criteria for performance execution and measurement, including goal governance.
- Lead the business' planning process, translating strategy into defined tactics, program / project priorities, and timelines to ensure achievement of enterprise's strategic goals.
- Coordinate Business Operating Reviews, including setting cadence, preparing materials, and managing follow-up action items.
- Coordinate Medicare-focused materials for Board of Directors meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other Senior Leadership Team meetings.
- Work with the business' regions and markets to ensure initiatives are effectively managed through portfolio management tactics, including KPIs and other success metrics.
- Support the strategic evaluation, planning and / or execution of M&A targets and Alliance partnerships. Responsible for supporting data-gathering and assisting in implementation, etc.
- Help lead, on behalf of the President, efforts to super-charge growth efforts in coordination with key enterprise and other line of business stakeholders.
- Identify, report and track risks and opportunities affecting financial, operational, growth, or reputational performance across the business.
- Compile Medicare calendar in conjunction with corporate calendar.
Position Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of management experience with significant large-scale project management strategic planning and/or consulting in the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

- Exceptional written and oral communications skills and a refined skill in tailoring messages to specific audiences in their preferred channels.
- Experience in executive level advising and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent leadership, financial, and analytical skills.

- Ability to travel.
