About the role:
- Support the pitch/RFI/RFP/RFQ process, including coordinating with teams across the firm and helping with drafting and follow-up
- Carry out market research and track industry, client and competitor news and information
- Work with wider team to help prepare partners and other client-facing teams for pitch presentations and other client presentations
- Track and maintain live opportunities
- Identify potential business opportunities with new clients
- Attend events, conferences, business forums and other networking events
- Work with broader team on effective client focus and retention strategies
- Identify and implement external profile-raising opportunities
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the region and the wider firm
- Work with colleagues across the region to identify and promote opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or equivalent and two years progressive experience in the position offered. Will accept suitable combination of education and experience in lieu of requirement.
Background Knowledge and Experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English (other than Chinese)
- Excellent customer service and Business Development skills.
- Competent in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and similar software.
- Operationally aware is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organization and coordination skills.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Able to work in a discreet and sensitive manner.
- Able to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Able to be self-managed and proactively seek out work.
- Detail-oriented.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have prior experience in Sales/BD preferably in the Immigration, corporate services or Global Mobility functions at a multinational or reputable local company
You will be fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English, with Arabic language skills also being advantageous, but not essential.
Also required:
- Highly organised, able to work within a team and under limited supervision
- Business Development and Client Service oriented
- A team player, who takes ownership and drives for results, growing the business and sustaining intensity and optimism while focusing on the client
- Helps create and maintain strong morale, cooperating with team members to resolve problems and achieve goals Ability to prepare and deliver clear, effective, and professional presentations
- Delivers written communication that is well organized and concise, and in vocabulary appropriate for audience
- Capable of managing a high number of tasks simultaneously, and setting priorities accordingly
- Ability to travel to client sites across MENA will also be required
Fragomen in Middle East:
Within the Middle East region we have offices in United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia with an overall headcount of 200 employees. Across all the offices, there is a positive and collaborative working environment, with our immigration professionals partnering with our clients to help them manage their regional or global immigration programmes. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with the Managing Partner for MEA, who is also located there.
