DISTINGUISHINGCHARACTERISTICS: • Detail-oriented • Problem solving and decision making Essential Duties Summary • Inspects building systems. • Modify spaces with structural wall modification. • Document’s discrepancies. • Maintains building structure repairs. • Maintains building equipment as required. • Preforms recoating, paint, and drywall. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. % FTE 2 Hiring Range $26.46-$33.74 Education High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent preferred. Required Licensing/Certification None required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of: • Procedures, Best Practices, and requirements. • Routine, preventive, and corrective building maintenance. • Requires some seasoning and experience beyond the entry level to conduct moderately complex work. Demonstrates general competence and growing knowledge and understanding of the overall function or discipline. • Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications. Skill in: • Problem-solving and decision-making. • Multitasking and time management. • Strong analytical. • Both verbal and written communication. Ability to: • Work independently. • Communicate effectively. Work Experience • Field experience or military experience may be substituted. • Five (5) years previous building maintenance experience, including two (2) year experience in commercial construction. Working/Environmental Conditions • Reach and grasp objects. • Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, lift or crawl. • Prolonged standing and/or walking. • Handling moderate to heavy weight objects • Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skill. • Use or carry equipment. • Communicate information verbally and in writing. • Receive and understand information through verbal and written communication. • Work a fluctuating work schedule. • Routine travel.
