About the Internship

The Tunnels, Bridges & Terminals (TB&T) Department is looking for an intern to join their Technical & Maintenance Services team.

Responsibilities

• Review facility condition survey reports, assist in preparing various repair & ratings logs.
• Asist in Right of Entry Application and Tenant Construction & Alteration Process.
• Analyze facility maintenance data for TB&T Asset Management Group.

Minimum Qualifications

• Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester
• Major in Civil Engineering or a related field

Desired Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of civil/structural engineering is preferred
• Past internship experience in civil/structural engineering field is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to learn new knowledge and technical skills
• Interest in public service and/or transportation

Internship Details

• The start date will be Thursday, May 29, 2025

• The internship will last approximately 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025

• This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day)

• The format is expected to be hybrid

Compensation & Benefits

• The hourly rate range is $17.63 to $29.57 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
