Summer Internship: Strategy Team

The WongDoody Summer 2024 Intern will work with our Strategy team located in New York City.

This opportunity is a hands-on orientation to the worlds of experience design and advertising for Senior students and master’s degree candidates with a passion for strategy. This position gives candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the gamut of WongDoody’s strategy offerings.
The Strategy Intern will be responsible for working with assigned account teams and supporting daily duties for client projects. 

What you’ll do:

• Shadow the Strategy team members to learn the day-to-day function and role within the agency 
• Conduct desk research to support and build upon departmental expertise in clients’ industries
• Aid in conducting primary research through interviews, surveys, and other research methods
• Develop POVs based on research
• Gain experience in insight development and brief writing
• Hone communications skills through internal and client-facing presentations
• Develop client partner skills and the importance of relationship building   
• Ensure client’s needs and goals are being met on projects  
• Experience the range of WongDoody’s strategy offerings including product and experience, innovation, brand communications, digital transformation, and more...

What you'll experience:

• A deep dive into our client’s brand, background information, and competitive landscape to generate insights and report on findings 
• The facets of Strategy that drive innovative digital and experiential work in tandem with Design
• Interactions with colleagues and activities across all areas of the agency to understand process, and how an agency works 
• Learn how to diplomatically problem-solve and maintain a positive attitude with team members across multiple disciplines and clients in dynamic and fast moving environments 
• Firsthand experience in the organization, roles and responsibilities of a modern agency that has frequently been recognized on “Best Places To Work” lists, and recently shortlisted for 2023 Digital Agency of the Year

This is a full-time, 10-week, paid internship starting in June 2024. The rate is $25/hour. Our ideal candidate will be local to New York, NY, to take advantage of our hybrid work environment in our offices at One World Trade Center.
