About Mighty:
We’re redesigning the recovery process after an accident to ensure injured people get the legal, financial, mental health, and medical support they need to get back on their feet. As a consumer-centric tech startup, we’re doing it all in a way that challenges the bad behavior that exists in the traditional personal injury industry.Â
Our team at Mighty is full of talented individuals from top technology startups, insurance, law, and health tech companies who are eager to fix a broken system. We’re transparent and honest in our communication, we’re obsessed with building the best service for our customers, and we aren’t afraid to let our quirkiness and nerdiness shine through.Â
We’ve come a long way since launching but we’re just getting started - and we need your help to continue making access to holistic support after an accident more transparent, more accessible, and more just.
Mighty seeks a current law student with an interest in legal innovation, legal technology, litigation financing, personal injury litigation and Access to Justice initiatives to be a part of its legal team for the summer or on an ongoing part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for and an interest in the cutting edge frontier of legal services, and a desire to work cross-functionally on the issues facing Mighty’s clients. This role will be based in New York, NY, and work directly with Mighty’s General Counsel.Â
What you’ll do:Â
- Research and write on issues at the forefront of legal services and legal innovationÂ
- Participate in litigation finance deals and related opportunities
- Help develop and implement processes that benefit Mighty’s clientsÂ
- Contribute to and participate in team meetings, team activities and other growth opportunities Â

We want to hear from you if you:

- Have a passion for legal innovation, technology and improving Access to Justice
- Are creative and have a desire to innovateÂ
- Are highly organized and have strong problem-solving skills
- Are capable of adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Have experience in a non-traditional or startup work environment Â

- Are ruthlessly organized and pay attention to detail
