The Role Reporting to Associate Media Director, the Digital Media Supervisor is a vital Zillow Digital Media team member responsible for delivering intelligent, innovative, and KPI-driven Digital campaigns for Canvas clients. Strong understanding of vendor landscape and ability to leverage that knowledge to build and recommend campaigns. Additionally, ability to exhibit an understanding of the role of Digital Media within an agency. The Supervisor role bridges the gap between hands-on execution work and manager/client communication. The Digital Supervisor manages a group of Digital Specialists and Associates to coordinate their priorities and ensure deliverables are met (while being able to communicate progress to the Associate Director/Director). This role must have experience across Digital Video, Digital Media, Print, and Branded Content (specifically media planning/activation pieces, as Canvas has a Content Production team)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire cycle of multimedia campaigns
- Â Lead and manage the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
- Ensure campaigns are executed with excellence and media plans stay within the approved budget
- Develop Zillow client-facing Digital Investment plans, including plan presentations (with accompanying Excel flowchart/media plan) and PowerPoint with inputs from Investment and Strategy teams.
- The ability to partner with senior members of the Digital and Strategy teams to organize/manage workflow is an absolute necessity.
- Collaborate with the Strategy team to synthesize client information, campaign media objectives, and strategies into digital language for planning and vendor communications.
- Participate in collaborative team brainstorms.
- Create and present media-specific documentation to multiple parties, such as clients, creative agencies, and internal leads. Including but not limited to RFPs, Proposals, Media Plans, Campaign Recaps/Wraps, etc
- Work closely with the direct manager in analyzing Digital proposals and partner negotiations.
- Analyze campaigns and recommend strategic and tactical changes to maximize campaign performance.
- Utilize various systems (Nielsen, Comscore, eMarketer) for competitive analysis, media planning development, and reporting.
- Lead and manage the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Support team in setting up 3rd party ad server/tracker system
- Supervise the team to ensure data entry in the billing system (SBMS) and insertion orders are done correctly and promptly
- Support day-to-day communication with key partners: vendors, creative/partner agencies, and clients
- Review Specialist and Associates work thoroughly to ensure high-quality standards
- Â Lead by example while motivating and coaching a team of Specialists and Associates
- Work from the Canvas office 2x-3x per week

Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, media concepts and terms, and creative and budget requirements
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Â Self-starter with proven ability to drive projects from start to finish on time
- Possesses a solid ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility.
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Practical verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in a clear and actionable way
- A collaborative team player who can work independently and as part of a matrix structure
- Exhibited ability to manage/oversee one or multiple team members (either Associates/Specialists)
- Previous experience in personal finance, banking, credit cards, or apps is a plus
- Passionate about generating groundbreaking ideas and infusing our team with a fresh perspective to drive creativity
- Positive attitude and energy – good vibes only!
- Able to commute to Playa Vista office 2x-3x per week
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a similar field (business, advertising, marketing, etc.) preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in Media Planning, with emphasis on Digital Media
- High-level proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as planning tools
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
