Qualifications

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level (ZA-IV at NIST) in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:

Experience with the National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Specific Act, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Endangered Species Act or other federal environmental statutes and regulations;
Experience with obtaining federal or state environmental permits, including under the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act; and
Experience in ecology, wetland protection, environmental toxicology, air pollution, water pollution, waste management, environmental justice or climate change.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
