The GSC Shared Services Supply Chain Analyst 1 is responsible for generating Key Performance Metrics (KPMs), analyzing reports, running basic queries, and lending support to internal clients.
The GSC Shared Services Supply Chain Analyst 1 is responsible for generating Key Performance Metrics (KPMs), analyzing reports, running basic queries, and lending support to internal clients.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the generation of KPMs. Business Objects, Demantra and Oracle (EBSP) reporting β this includes, but is not limited to, the following: running queries, data gathering, manipulation of the data and publishing reports. (40%)
- Planning (Growth report, Common error report, Next Available Date holds, Check part info holds, planning reports: Safety stock analysis, FLM & POQ analysis).
- KPMs (Available to fill, Patch cords, missed expedites, Daily order board, Pro-active notification)
- Sourcing (Aged inventory report and Maintain the commodity codes database to identify spend by commodity type, Commodity code clean-up)
Responsible for generating Supply Chain queries and basic analytics. Reporting responsibilities include: (25%)
- Ensuring accuracy of the data, timing of publishing (Monthly, weekly and daily basis) and sending acknowledgments to the users, and overall accountability.
- Assist the Consignment reconciliation program.
- Reporting the global spends which helps to define the top 25 suppliers and Use of Noetix universe in BO.
Responsible for internal client support, including Project Management responsibilities such as: (20%)
- Analyze, collect, summarize information and trends and determinate if a deeper analysis is needed to provide solutions to our internal customers.
- Assistance to our customers (Category Managers, Sourcing Agents, Sales, Theater, Product team, Finance or any other related area). This includes questions or issues raised during the daily operations.
Assists in Oracle Data Integrity Management. Involved in entering information into Oracle as required. Oracle part changes maintenance, source changes logic & implementation and part setups. (15%)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Β
- Preferred Degree: Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain; Operations Management; Business or related field (or local country equivalent).
- Certificate(s): APICS certification as a plus
- Experience: 0 - 2 Years in Supply Chain or educational equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- MS Office Proficiency and Intermediate Excel (Excel VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.)
- ERP system knowledge (Oracle and Demantra Preferred)
- Data query / Business Objects capability
- Ability to analyze and summarize data into actionable summary reports
- Supply Chain knowledge a plus. A basic understanding of Supply Chain concepts. Knowledge of Purchasing, Planning, Inventory, and/or Warehousing.
- Proven project participation / team skills and ability to manage/balance time against multiple tasks/priorities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivated and has strong sense of urgency
- Able to effectively work independently or in a group.
- English proficiency
