Supply Chain Coordinator

Catalent are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Nottingham site. This position will sit within the supply Chain Team which work on a Commercial Product Franchise. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for the packaging aspects of the business and to enable that all assets, processes, and procedures meet GMP/GDP requirements. This busy and fast-paced role requires a keen eye for detail, patience and teamwork.

The role:

• Maintain a complete understanding of the flow to ensure an efficient process.

• Be able to translate client forecasts into production schedules, batch allocations and shipping tables

• Look after shipments to the customer and monitor/accommodate changes requested by the customer

• Raise change controls where necessary and update / create new SOPs

• Where change controls require participation in the packaging part, raise packaging specifications and check Master Batch Packaging records from Central Pharma

• Support Team with the process of movement of goods for products and materials through SAP system, including, purchasing, receiving, moving from site to site etc.

• Raise quotations and invoices to the customer as required

• Place purchase orders for the applicators and finished product in SAP

• Ensure all Supply Chain documentation is generated, maintained and stored in compliance with SOPs and to meet customers supply requirements

• Monitor and update the KPIs of the contractors

• Update and keep accurate records for EBITDA

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance monitoring the releases for shipments and EBITDA

• Meet and contribute into the KPIs

• Maintain a good working relationship with all suppliers and customers.

The candidate:

• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills

• Proficient (excellent) in English verbal and written communication skills to convey and receive ideas and instructions to/from others within and outside the organization

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, management, suppliers and customers

• Strong organizational skills

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience using SAP or similar procurement software.

• Knowledge of Import/Export

• Can be a hybrid role with at least two days on site.
