Position Summary:
The Demand Planning Supervisor, US Centralized Purchasing is responsible for leading and supporting the demand planning team. Areas of focus include ensuring department goals are met, analyzing data, implementing improvements, standardizing protocols, creating training programs, developing people, and supporting ongoing projects. This role will support the Demand Manager, US Supply Chain in creating and executing strategy while collaborating with other team leaders across the department.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Provide leadership, mentoring, development, and coaching to demand planning team
- Ensure department performance goals are met; Perform analysis on Key Performance Indicators (forecast accuracy, forecast error)
- Create a culture of innovation and data driven processes to support customer initiatives and MB strategic plans
- Contribute to the sales and operating planning/execution process with Suppliers, Customers, Distribution Center Operations, and other Supply Chain groups to collaborate on forecasts, promotions, new item launches, and other activities
- Ensure planners maintain optimal safety stock levels to ensure no breaks in supply to restaurants or large overstocks in the distribution center
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of seasonal and promotional sales patterns to provide oversight on forecast adjustments
- Proactively participate in identifying opportunities for process improvement & developing solutions
- Provide oversight on system maintenance and ordering parameters to ensure team is executing
- Develop and maintain productive relationships and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Support and execute change management
- Lead weekly team meetings
- Assist in weekend, vacation, and holiday coverage as needed
- Other projects or duties as assigned
