Responsibilities:

  • Manages delivery assurance processes and/or works to achieve day-to-day delivery assurance objectives.
  • Implements solutions to issues such as the coordination of shipments, sub-process suppliers, and technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery, and to identify root causes that impact on-time delivery.
  • Implements process improvements and deploys a delivery assurance system to ensure early identification of shortages.
  • Collaborates with other departments as necessary with regard to meeting customer requirements, minimizing negative impacts on a business in the case of shortages.
  • Ensures timely delivery of all materials required for the production of assigned complex components.


Education:
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • Experience: 3 years of minimum relevant professional work experience, required


Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and bills of material.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to succeed in the day-to-day management of competing priorities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Quantitative spreadsheet analysis


Required Computer Competency:

A strong working competency and ability to expand capabilities continuously and independently with the following computer software applications is required:
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access
  • Power BI or similar data analytics is a benefit
  • PLM, preferably Windchill, is a benefit
  • ERP, SAP, Glovia, and BPIX experience is a benefit
