  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position may require 6-12 weeks TDY, approximately 30% of the time in support of United States Army Cadet Command Cadet Summer Training, or Cadet Command seminars/classes, and other events as directed.
  • Must possess or obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license is required.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License with Hazardous Material Endorsement.
  • Incumbency of this position is limited to persons who have not had a conviction of domestic violence under the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. 922).
  • Completion of a Unit Armor Course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training.
  • Completion of Contracting Officer’s Representative course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 50lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
  • May perform additional duties as the Unit Prevention Leader (UPL), which requires travel to conduct testing.
  • If selected to perform these duties the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the UPL Certification Training IAW AR-600-85 and maintain the system, testing supplies, and serve as point of contact for the program.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) receipt and storage of supply items; 2) conducting inventories; 3) preparing reports to document supply transactions; AND 3) reviewing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the unique requirements to plan and execute a supply program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
