- Currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN nursing school program
- Completed nursing fundamentals or equivalent course (or within 90 days of completion)
- Two shifts every 6 weeks – rotating
- Days 7am–7:30pm
- Nights 7pm–7:30am
- Holiday Rotation
- Weekend Rotation
Overview

163PCU is a 19 bed surgical progressive care unit. The patient population is comprised of acutely ill surgical patients requiring a higher level of nursing care and monitoring. This unit primarily cares for post–op patients admitted to the Abdominal Transplant, Hepatobiliary Surgery, ENT/Plastics Surgery and Ortho–micro Surgery teams. Secondary, this unit manages critical care needs for patients admitted to the Trauma/ACCS/Geriatric Trauma Surgery teams, Orthopedic–Spine/Recon/Hand etc. teams as well as Vascular Surgery and other overflow teams.

Role Purpose
Provides multi–skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. This job requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent (fundamentals, foundations, or adult/peds health.
