Surgical Physician Assistant / "Surgical PA" Opportunity in Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from NYC) Full Time Night Shift

Danbury Hospital, now part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a full-time Night Surgical Physician Assistant (Surgical PA) to join our established and growing Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program in Danbury, Connecticut, located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State. Our busy service of 13 full-time Advanced Practitioners currently provides services to all surgical patients admitted to the hospital, as well as in Observation, Extended stay, Emergency room, and Operating room, including consults, pre and post-operative care as well as OR first assist. Specialties include, but are not limited to, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgical/Spine, Plastics, and ENT. As we grow the program, we will be evolving to a 24/7 service. The schedule is 3-12 hours shift with some weekend and holiday coverage required.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified physician assistant with surgical and/or patient management experience and/or surgical residency training. New graduates welcome to apply. Salary Range

$105,000/yr.-$150,000/yr. (Commensurate with experience)
