Surgical Technologist I - 12hr shifts

The Surgical Technologist I at Norman Regional Surgical Services plays a critical role in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures while assisting physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or significant experience in the field, alongside necessary certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS). Up to $5K Sign On Bonus

Compensation / Benefits

• $19.56-$31.94/hr. depending on previous work experience.
• Evening differential $2.00/hr.
• Night differential $2.50/hr.
• Weekend differential $2.50/hr.
• Sign On Bonus paid over 1 year.

Job Summary

Education

Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program, achieved national certification in surgical technology preferred, or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech. Cath lab: RCIS certification preferred.

Experience

Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program, or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech, or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred. National Certification is highly preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment. If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification. Current Oklahoma LPN license required, if applicable. Cath lab: ALS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout duration of employment.

Education

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program, achieved national certification in surgical technology, or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.

Experience

• Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program, or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
• National Certification is highly preferred.

Licensure / Certification

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
• If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification.
• Currently Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.
