Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have an Arizona PLS, plus ten (10) years of office mapping experience on private land development projects and public works projects.
Candidate must have:
- Thorough knowledge of Arizona Minimum Boundary Standards
- Local Civil Codes
- Leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
Candidate should have experience with the following:
- Preparing CAD drawings of boundary surveys, Topographic Maps, ALTA/NSPS, Land Title Surveys, As-built surveys, subdivision maps and other survey drawings
- Processing with City and County agencies
Additional skills necessary for this position are:
- Project Management
- Business Development
- Proposal Writing and Estimating
- Ensure project goals are met on time
- Provide direction, support, and mentorship to lower-level staff members
- Time management/Schedule oversight
- Previous Field experience
Technical skills:
- Perform mapping research
- Boundary analysis
- Calculations
- Exhibits
- Legal description preparation
- Proficiency in Civil 3D is preferred
- Knowledge of Word, Bluebeam, and skills in Excel are preferred
- Familiarity with Trimble Business Center and Carlson software
